Carpinteria, California – April 29, 2008 - NuSil Technology (www.nusil.com), a
cutting-edge manufacturer of silicone-based materials for healthcare, aerospace,
electronics and photonics, recently launched R-2100-2, a fast-curing, general-purpose
black silicone marking ink.
R-2100-2 is a two-part black ink, dispersed in xylene, that cures rapidly with the addition
of heat. The ink provides good surface adhesion, making it ideal for marking or printing
on silicone rubber parts and other components. R-2100-2 cures with most materials
common to biomedical assemblies and, if another color is needed, NuSil can readily
modify the ink color to fit clients’ requirements.
“This rapid-cure product is designed to
reduce or eliminate time constraints in the inkapplication
process,“ said Brian Nash, vice president of Marketing and Sales. “In
addition, the ability to customize the color of these inks provides our customers with
greater application flexibility.“
